DescriptionThis project brought as much joy as its subject, baby Tessa. This hardcover children’s picture book tells the story of a little boy, who learns for the first time that his baby sister, Tessa, has Down syndrome. We coordinated every step of this project from editing and illustration, to design and printing. Other additions included creating a Kickstarter campaign, as well as a video script for the author. We wrote and sent press releases, provided media coordination, made the book available through Amazon and other major distributors, acquired reviews from state and national Down syndrome organizations and sent the book out for reviews and awards. Collateral materials accompanying this book include: bookmarks, t-shirts, trade show banners, postcards, posters and event cards. A portion of the proceeds from this book go to Down syndrome organizations.
